Our new volunteer program launches May 2025, and we're excited to offer regular opportunities to get your hands in the soil and learn more about gardening!

 

We'll offer three different opportunities a month to volunteer at the Worthy farm, landscape and Franklin's Corner Community Garden. These will be easy, informative, one-hour sessions geared towards learning new skills you can share with friends and family: plant, pollinator and pest ID; seeding, thinning and harvesting edible crops; pruning and deadheading; weed control; watering and fertilizing techniques. We'll provide the training and equipment, as well as fun conversation and information about growing food and native plants in the high desert.
